The Urban League of Northwest Indiana is privileged to provide programs and services that promote the academic success and the development of successful life skills for citizens in Lake, Porter, and LaPorte Counties

Annual Leadership Symposium – May – Purdue University Northwest

• A day of learning, networking, and professional growth. The day features keynote speakers, panel discussions, and interactive sessions designed to strengthen leadership skills across industries with a focus on merit, excellence, and innovation.

Scholastic Luncheon – May – The Chateau

• Scholarship recipients receive their scholarship checks and receive recognition for their accomplishments. Students are presented with certificates of excellence in acknowledgment of their academic achievement.
• In addition to the scholarship winners, the ULNWI welcomes 2 guest per student, and all Scholarship Donors are invited to attend the luncheon.

Scholarship Fair – September – Indiana University Northwest

• Over 70 ++ Colleges and Universities, from across the country, offering partial and full scholarships to high school graduating seniors.
• Additional scholarship opportunities and career options.
